    Our stay was great for the two of us. The place was clean, quiet, great views, located one block off the great beaches of Waikiki. The building has a pool and jacuzzi, and having WiFi and a parking spot included made our stay even better. The kitchen window faced Diamond Head and The sunrise every morning, the lani faced the ocean and the sunset each night. We could walk to all shopping and restaurants. A laundry room was right next door and the trash shoot across the hall. We were picked up by Uber with ease in the front of property. The place is a bit old fashioned in decor but comfortable. And we liked having the convenience of a coffee shop and market right down in the main lobby. We would definitely stay here again. It says sleeps 3 but there is a twin bed and a full bed. 3 small people maybe. Or one on the couch. But for two of us it was very comfortable.

    Great unit. Great location. Clean. Good parking. You can see the waves crashing on Waikiki.

    We loved the place and definitely recommend it, however there were a couple things that made it less than perfect that people should know about.

    The kitchen is not that well stocked if you want to cook in the unit.
    There is an oven, but no oven capable pans. No steak knives, cheese grater, mixing/salad bowls, etc. For anyone who wants to use the BBQs in the courtyard, there are no plastic plates, cups, BBQ tongs, etc. Plastic utensils are required to use the BBQs in the courtyard.

    The BBQ situation at Waikiki Banyan is a nightmare!
    The building has electric BBQs which are a huge pain to use. First you have to visit the Security office (1st floor) early in the day to make a reservation. No more than 15 minutes before your reservation, you have to go back to the security office to pickup a key. You unlock your BBQ, then put in $2 worth of quarters, which gets you one hour of cook time. When you are done, you lockup your BBQ, then return the key to the security office. Yes, 3 visits to the security office per use!
