  ・We was relaxed with a bathtub. A shower is good. But for Japanese,a bathtab is better to be relaxed we think.

  The location was great and the room was okay. Building was clean. We didn't use the pool and the hot tub temp was only 96 so we didn't use that either. My only issue was not knowing that I had to pay $40/night to park in the garage. We played musical parking spots on the street a few nights, paid for the garage a few nights, and got a ticket one night for street parking but it was $35 which is cheaper than the garage.

  We stayed for 4 nights. It is a very small room with oversized furniture for the room that should only accommodate 2. There is a “queen bed”which is probably just a full bed - too small for a queen, and a single bed. The dining table is one to accommodate 6 - so too waste of space. And the large long bench seat - not sure about why that is there when there is a full lounge - we moved it to store our suitcases on. The kitchenette is fine, and the bathroom is well maintained. The window air con unit didn’t get very cool and is noisy in the tiled unit. The facilities here - pool, reception, gym, little shop for supplies, laundry room - best I’ve seen in Honolulu in complexes of this age - and we stay at a lot of places.

  We spent 8 days in Waikiki & this cute condo was a great place to stay. The location was perfect. The condo had everything we needed including a beach chair and mats. The bathroom could use a bit of an upgrade but all in all it was great! I've read complaints about the AC but it worked perfectly and we came in to a nice cool room after a day in the sun. We would definitely stay here again.

  We were very happy with our stay at Island Colony. The condo was well-equipped with everything that we needed, including a drying rack, beach mats, beach umbrella and chairs. The kitchen had all the needed utensils and everything was in working order. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty clean towels, and the space was neatly organized and cleaned when we arrived. The only downside was that the bathtub was clogged and it took a couple of days to fix it. Otherwise, everything was very comfortable, and once the shower was fixed and draining we had no other issues.

  This was just what I was looking for. Easy walk to Waikiki for an affordable price. The interior is showing some wear, (bathtub drips a little could use some fresh paint) but I expected that for the price. Other reviews complained of roaches. We saw only two during the week we stayed, although I was careful to keep food put away and dishes clean. I a complex of that size in a tropical environment with mostly private residences, it would be impossible to completely eliminate them. If you want to pay $500 a night for a hotel room on the beach, there won't be any roaches. It was clean and convenient.

  We found this property to be clean and in good condition. It has a kitchenette with fridge, two-burner stove, coffee maker, microwave, toaster and adequate pots, utensils, plates and tableware. The apartment is small and has a twin bed and a double bed. One side of the latter is against a wall, which might be awkward for some. There is also a couch, table, and several additional chairs. The balcony has other chairs and provides a view of the canal. We had a rental car and found overnight on-street parking very hard to come by, so we paid the daily parking fee for the Island Colony Garage ($35 per day). The Island Colony is within walking distance of many Waikiki attractions and eateries. Overall, our experience was great. The unit was "as advertised." Our one negative is that we found the A/C unit to be rather noisy.

  Plenty of space for 3 people, a great location in Waikiki. Easy access to transit, shopping, beach, groceries & restaurants.
  Sixth floor store, pool, laundry, hot tub were very handy and well maintained.
  The condo space was well set up, all the kitchen essentials plus more. Fridge was a great size, microwave worked, coffee maker, two-burner stove top. Very helpful when the restaurant waits & reservations require more patience than we have ;)
  Perfect for our 9 day stay! We hope to stay here again when we next come back to Oahu

  It was very nice room compared with the cost. I spent there total more than 4 months for business. Even though the kitchen was minimum, Island Colony's amenities such as a convenience store on 6th floor and 24 hours coin laundry were also good for me.

  Beachy decor. Comfortable bed. Lots of kitchen cooking/eating supplies. Floors looked clean but soles of feet were black after first hour in bare feet in the room. Patio door lock did not work but would definitely stay there again. The view of the canal was picturesque.

  I really liked the location, it was walkable distance to most places. The room was well maintained and the building security seems to be good. There were towels and some toiletteries provided as well. The only thing was that it was a little bit cramped for four people with our luggages. But overall, we were happy with our one week stay here!!
